Having lived with chronic low back pain for over twenty years and gone the “western” medicine route with no relief, I began to search out alternative healing. During the course of this search, I stumbled onto SHEN. It was there I learned that physical pain can be a manifestation of unresolved emotional wounds. As these inner emotional conflicts resolved, so did my back pain.
From the very first session, I knew this was my true calling. I continue to be amazed by SHEN’s surprisingly gentle and effective nature; and what could be more natural than the “laying on of hands”?
Kim has over sixteen years experience in the health care field. She is a member of the International SHEN Therapy Association and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. She welcomes children and adults to her home office in Blue Hill, Maine.
